What information do you need to get started?

I prefer to work in a fairly self-directed way once we have our expectations set up and have agreed on everything that we’ll be doing together.

However, I do have a few things that I absolutely must have before I can get started at the bare minimum:

  • The topics you want written about (something as simple as “X slot review” or “a weekly poker strategy article” is fine, or you can just offer something more general like “write news items and slot reviews for new releases”)
  • Whatever extras you want included (see above for pricing)
  • A general word count range that you’re looking for and/or a general budget (just so that we don’t run into mismatched expectations)
  • Where I need to send or upload the content (and which format you prefer it in if I’m sending or uploading the files)
  • Where I need to send the invoice

My favorite clients are the ones where they give me some general parameters and a budget and turn me loose. I feel like that’s the best value for them as well because I feel like you’re paying for my experience as a writer and my knowledge of SEO strategy. However, I can take direction just fine as long as it’s not overbearing micromanaging.

How do I become a "main client" for free interlinking and more?

My main clients have a few things in common. They essentially give me a budget and the things they want me to write on, and they turn me loose. From there, I’ll upload and/or deliver content throughout the week and invoice weekly.

These clients get free smart interlinking based on tf*IDF and anti-Panda strategies to build a super-strong foundation of relevancy and value for the reader. It also decreases bounce-rate and slightly increases conversions.

What forms of payment do you accept?

I generally accept PayPal, but if you have something else you’d prefer, I can work with whatever can be worked with.

Do I have to pay upfront?

New clients may be asked to pay half of the estimated cost of their project upfront if the work is going to cost more than $200 total.

Clients who establish a prompt and reliable payment history do not have to pay upfront, but I prefer to be paid weekly.

Do you write all of the content, or do you have a team?

I write every bit of content that I provide myself. I have no writers working for me.

What style guidelines do you use for your writing?

I typically write in the Associated Press style. However, I can accommodate most anything you’d prefer otherwise.

Can you write a sample article for me?

Generally no, but with exceptions.

If the offer is right from someone who is looking to put me in a position where they want to give me some parameters and a budget and turn me loose, then feel free to ask me about it because I’d love to work with you to figure something out that’s mutually beneficial.

Are you accepting other job offers?

If it’s not going to require me to move, and if it’s not going to require me to communicate via anything other than email, then feel free to shoot me an email to, and we can talk about it.

I have a question that’s not listed.

No problem! Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments via email at
